I started my career in corporate bankruptcy. I saw how the system could leave small businesses and ordinary people behind while larger institutions protected themselves. I wanted to represent the person on the other side of that imbalance.

In 2014 I founded The W Tax Group. Since then I’ve represented individuals and business owners through IRS and state tax controversies — appeals, collections, responsible-person cases, audits, and everything in between.

I graduated from the University of Michigan, then Loyola University Chicago School of Law. My office is in Southfield, Michigan. I represent clients nationwide. Away from work I’m a husband, a father of twins, and — because someone has to be — a stubborn Pistons and Lions fan.
